would you like to

be a hometender?

San Antonio Hometenders enjoy living in homes that are on the market to sell at a fraction of "normal" rental rates.

The hometenders move into the house, furnish/decorate it, and keep it ready for Realtors to show.

It's not for everyone, but there are several situations that seem to work out great for people to be hometenders:

  • people who are waiting for their own homes to be built.
  • people who need to save money so they can buy their own home.
  • people who need to sell their house in another city before they buy one here.
  • people waiting for a job, wedding, graduation, divorce - any life change that makes buying a bad option.
  • people who are new in town, and want to "test drive" a few neighborhoods, builders, etc before they decide what to buy.
  • anyone who has a need for a nice, temporary housing situation at a fantastic savings.

There are several requirements to be a hometender:

  • must have attractive furnishings, decorating items and a flair for decorating.
  • must keep house in "model home" condition
  • must cooperate with Realtor showings
  • no pets, no smoking
  • must be ready to move when the house sells
  • must be flexible and easy to work with

There are three things that need to be done if you think you might like to be a hometender:

  1. Come and talk to us - we want to be sure you hear all the good (and bad) about being a hometender so you can make a good decision.  We've got a list of "things you should think about" to go over with you.
  2. Bring in pictures of your furniture.  This way we can match you up with a house you'll look great in.
  3. Fill out an application.  We don't charge an application fee, and you won't sign or promise anything until you're ready.

When you have your pictures ready,  just call 210-308-8661 and make an appointment to come in and hear all the details with NO OBLIGATION.  Or, if you prefer, you can email pictures of your furniture along with your name and contact information to mike@hometenders.net - and we'll contact you.

Feel free to give us a call if you have questions, or want to learn more about "hometending".
